The most important aspect of quality professional development is program design based on local needs. We design our presentations based on your goals and needs; the scholarly literature; and, engaging activities. Participants experience the theory in action, allowing them the opportunity to take material back to classrooms and make it their own.
Too many times, research conducted in education leads to statistical significance, but little or no impact for children. We look into the lives of learners, teachers and parents in order to better understand the learning process and the impact classrooms and schools have on children's (and educators') lives. You'll notice the process is organic—voices from participants are the key component. We respect and honor teaching and learning by focusing on the specifics rather than theories or statistical attempts to make meaning. Feel invited to get involved and contribute your insights and experiences to the learning process.
From half day teacher in-service presentations to yearlong evaluation and strategic planning, our staff designs and develops interactive programs grounded in your firm's needs and goals. We provide engaging opportunities for your faculty and staff to learn about and experience multiple strategies to enrich classroom or building environments—with the latitude to choose what makes the most sense based on individual participant's learning environments and teaching styles.
In addition, most day long in-service sessions include an evening parent meeting where families are encouraged to get involved in their child's learning options and have questions answered about specific situations.
